Privacy policy

The personal data collected on Recruteo is processed by Recruteo SARL, whose registered office is in Antananarivo. For any question about your data, write to confidentialite@recruteo.mg.

• Identity data: name, email address, phone number.
• Account data: role (candidate or recruiter), company, password (stored encrypted / hashed).
• Application data: cover letter, information provided when applying.
• Usage data: pages viewed, searches performed, for statistical purposes.

We process your data to manage your account, connect candidates and recruiters, handle your applications, produce anonymised statistics and send you service-related communications. This processing is based on the performance of the service you request, your consent, and our legitimate interest in improving the platform.

When you apply for a job, your application details are sent to the recruiter concerned. Your data may also be processed by our technical providers (hosting), strictly within the limits necessary to run the service. We never sell your data.

Your account data is kept for as long as your account is active. Applications are kept for up to 24 months. You can request the deletion of your account and your data at any time.

Passwords are protected by hashing and are never stored in plain text. Exchanges with the site are encrypted when the HTTPS protocol is used. Despite our efforts, no system is infallible: we encourage you to choose a strong password.

In accordance with Malagasy law no. 2014-038 on the protection of personal data, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to and port your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at confidentialite@recruteo.mg or via our contact page.

Recruteo uses a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you logged in. No advertising or tracking cookie is placed without your consent.

This policy may be updated. Any substantial change will be signalled to you on the site.
