Delete my account

1. Who this page is for
This page covers accounts on the Recruteo website (recruteo.mg) and on the mobile app “Recruteo Emploi Madagascar”, published by EXTERNAM. It applies to both candidate and recruiter accounts.
2. How to request deletion
Send an e-mail to contact@recruteo.mg from your account address, with “Account deletion” as the subject. Writing from the account address lets us verify the request comes from you: it is the only safeguard against someone deleting another person's account.
If you no longer have access to that mailbox, write from another address and state the account address to be deleted. We will then ask for something confirming your identity.
You can also use the site's contact form: Contact page.
3. Timeframe
Requests are processed within 30 days at most. You receive an e-mail confirmation once deletion is done.
4. What is deleted
Deletion is permanent and covers:
- your account and sign-in credentials
- your profile: name, date of birth, phone, address, photo
- your CV and any documents you uploaded
- your applications and the CVs sent with them
- your conversations with recruiters, attachments included
- your e-mail alerts, notification subscriptions and followed companies
- for a recruiter account: the company page and published job offers
5. What is retained, and why
Two exceptions, required by law or necessary to run the service:
- Accounting records tied to a purchase (invoice, payment reference, amount) are kept for 10 years, the statutory retention period for accounting documents. They contain no profile data and no CV.
- Site audience statistics, which can no longer identify you once the account is deleted.
A CV already e-mailed to a recruiter with an application sits in that recruiter's mailbox: it has left our systems and we cannot delete it there. Contact the company directly.
6. Deleting without closing the account
You can remove your CV, clear your profile or turn off alerts from your member area without deleting the account. See our privacy policy for the details of your rights.
This page describes the account deletion procedure required by Google Play. It does not replace the privacy policy, which remains the reference document on how your data is processed.
